Sub: The blue download arrow seems missing with https:. Also 'green lock' (HTTPS) is missing on viewtopic page.

Am using Firefox and am using https://
The 'viewforum.php' page has the 'green lock' in the address bar.
Upon clicking a link on the page to view a book, it takes me to viewtopic.php page. Here, the 'green lock' is missing from the address bar. Instead there is a 'yellow' icon (which reads: Connection is not secure). The 'blue download' icon is also missing. The blue icon however appears when i change https: to http:// instead. I noticed the behaviour just today and thought i'd mention it. I notice similar behaviour on IE 11 too.

Could you kindly have a look. Thank you.

Yes, and there's nothing special you need to do for it to work on iOS. It should work on any browser.

Yes, go to donate.php - there's a BitCoin option there.

Please see the last item on the FAQ in the opening post titled "My browser is telling me that "The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite" or that or that the page is not on a secure connection."

I'm not too sure. I've seen this issue before but have never been able to replicate it myself. Can you see any trend to when it happens?

I've tried to determine a trend. Not always the same uploader or the same site. Happens on multiple devices.

Hi, I am currently on the trial version....very good indeed. A couple of questions though, when clicking back after downloading a file it downloads it again so I have to go back to the forum index and begin looking through the threads from the beginning again (I like to browse). Is there a fix for this or is it a browser issue (Firefox)? I do prefer Opera but it's gone wayward recently. Also will I be able to view the Movies section if I pay?

Cheers.

Hi. I took a quick look, but couldn't find anything on adding a filehost. I've noticed suprafiles.co seems to be used fairly often lately and that its been a mirror for Uploads.to, which has problems. If suprafiles.co is a safe site, could it be added? As it is now, it redirects to another site. Sample: viewtopic.php?f=1293&t=1932247 . Thank you.

Press and hold the back button. It will allow you go back several pages which is what you want.

I can look into it, I'll have to talk to the owners of the filehost.

I have a lifetime premium membership, and have been using it to download eBooks successfully for at least a year. I use Chrome as my browser. Starting about two weeks ago, however, whenever I click on the blue download arrow and log in with username and password, I get the following message in the window:

The webpage might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address

I've tried using Firefox to see if this is a Chrome problem. The same thing happens.

Can anyone give me suggestions or fixes that might work? I'm getting desperate!

Hi -

I've got a question - lately, there have been instances where I try to download via the premium "blue arrows," but instead of saying "connecting to whatever" and then downloading a zip or rar to my PC, it'll just say "connected to port 80 whateverfiles.blah.blah," (something like that!) and doesn't DO anything. Nothing downloads. If I click on that link (in the box), I get a white box with a 404 file not found error.

What am I doing wrong, or is there something I'm supposed to do when that happens, and I just don't know the trick?

Thanks (feeling really stupid),
Kas

@KASbooks, I've heard other members describe a similar problem but I've never been able to replicate it. Check your PMs please.

EDIT: fixed now.
