General Site Rules

#1.1 Flaming is not allowed. Racism, as well as flaming and insulting members will not be tolerated. Treat others positively and with respect

#1.2 Do not mini-mod. We would like to encourage and thank members to use the report button but not add their own criticism. Impersonating a staff member is a serious offense and may lead to a permanent ban

#1.3 No porn/profanity/swearing including in your signatures or avatars.

Posting Releases

#2.1 Before posting a release, check if it has already been released.
If it has, do not post a double release (double releases are deleted and not rewarded)

#2.2 Be sure to follow the "How to post a release" sticky's guidelines when posting a release.
Each release section contains a "How to post a release" sticky. Be sure that you are familiar with the rules of posting releases

#2.3 Please post in the correct section(s).

#2.4 Images have to be uploaded to Mobilism's image hosting website, which can be found here:
Hot-linking images from other forums websites or other image hosters is not allowed

#2.5 Don’t put any additional text in the header or title, just put the software name and version

#2.6 Only full versions of software allowed, including freeware. Trial/Lite versions are NOT.
Trial/Lite is a software that is provided to users without payment on a trial basis and is often limited by any combination of functionality, availability or convenience.
Exception to this rule may be provided on an individual and specific base, and only after consulting and permission by a staff member

#2.7 Movie Release must be released to the Appropriate Content & Guidelines. Full Ripped movies will be deleted.

#2.8 Software packages containing multiple software which have already been released and only regrouped according to a common trait are forbidden. If you wish to release a special software package that has been specially organized in what you find to be a very useful way, pm a mod to get permission to post it. Otherwise, an unauthorized software/game package with all of its contents already existing in posted releases will be deleted.

#2.9 In the Requirements people need to start including Android 1.5+, or Android 2.0+ , Tegra 2 etc. Not just Android, or Android OS, that is not enough information. This includes all OS sections.

Download Links

#3.1 Make sure that you test all your links before you post them.

#3.2 Upload your files somewhere, DON'T POST DOWNLOAD LINKS TO/FROM OTHER FORUMS. You can use any online file hosting website to store your files (,,, etc.). You are also required to have a copy of the file(s) from your release so that if the file(s) you uploaded expire/get deleted you are able to reupload them. It's acceptable to use direct links from the developer or author as long as you also post at least one filehost link for the release.

#3.3 Only direct links to filehosts will be accepted. In other words do not post a link to a secondary page that will display the link(s) (and show ads or list multiple links at the same time). Just post that link.
#3.4 Downloads must not be pillowed out.
e.g. A rar file containing a 60kb cab file and 5meg of pictures etc.
You are not allowed to alter the file size with unnecessary files in an archive as it has disadvantages for users who are downloading with their mobile phone and don't have an unlimited data plan

#3.5 Serials should not be posted on the site itself. You can either include the serials with the files you are uploading, upload the serial separately or place the serial on a filehost such as and post the link to it in the forums.

Posting Etiquette

#4.1 Don't post everything ALL IN CAPS. This is considered shouting and is unacceptable.

#4.2 Please do not hijack a thread by going off topic: always stay relevant to the topic

#4.3 Only the following languages are allowed to be used in the forum: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Dutch, Swedish, Hungarian, Hebrew, Farsi, Hindi, Romanian, and Arabic.
Any language(s) can be used in the Free Talk area. Only languages that can be understood by the moderator staff (those languages are listed above) are allowed in the other sections.

#5.1 Do not Spam.
We want your posts to have substance (as if you are taking part in a verbal conversation), something that other members can reply to.

#5.2 No Posting Self-Gain links (for example money or referrals).
The only exception to this rule are donation links posted by the authors of releases that are freely distributed (for example free software or ROMs).

#6.1 Before you post a request please check if what you are looking for has already been released.

#6.2 Do not ask for requests in the release threads. (like in the gps section: Can you please upload map xxx as well?) This should be done in the request section.

#6.3 Please do not request personal serial keys in the release topics.
The Personal Key or Serial providing service should be used for this here:

#7.1 Members who disobey the rules will be warned or banned depending on what the moderator believes is the appropriate punishment.
This does not mean that you have to have a warning to get banned, moderators may ban you without warnings depending on the offense.

* If you believe you do not deserve the warn please contact the moderator who warned you.
* If you do not know why you received a warning, an email and private message would have been sent to notify you of the reason why you were warned and who warned you.

Thank You Posts

#8.1 Dont make simple "thank you posts".
These posts spam the forum and when there are too many make it extremely hard to find something. If you wish to say thank you add something usful to your post (not just "Thanks, works great") or rate the thread. You can also donate WRZ$ as a thank you

Avatars and Signatures

#8.1 Avatars can only be 80KB or less in total file size.

#8.2 The total maximum dimensions for all images in a signature is 500px (width) by 200px (height) horizontally only.

#8.3 Signatures can only be 100KB or less in total file size.

Hi, do Vip plus premium members need to say thankyou when they download an app, by clicking the hand or post what they think about the app or both. I am confused and don't want to get banned.

No, thank yous are voluntary. As a sign of good faith, I would encourage anyone who downlods an application to lick the like icon. But as always, any feedback or gestures of goodwill towards an OP are left up to your discretion.

I am a new member and I received the following after I made a post:
File exceeds file size limits for free users..... appreciate the effort though......

I did read and make a copy of the Forum Rules, but I do not see where that rule is.
Any help would be appreciated.
