Still using my ancient Mitac Mio 168 Pocket PC Windows Mobile 2003, which I bought in May 2005! However the current TomTom maps are a big laggy now and map updates are likely to stop at any moment I guess, so I plan on buying something like a HTC 7 Pro. Hopefully TomTom can be installed on this device.

I have an overabundance of PDA's several ipaq's a Pharos with GPS Dell 51 and about 10 Android devices smallest is smaller then the ipaq, 2.8 inch screen. I think the total of PDA's with Windows Mobile 2003 to 2005 is 5 two with Linux then one of those school computers with windows CE built in neat little tablets those but I haven't taken it out of the sleeve for a few months now. Planning on selling all but 2 of the pda's and all but one of the Android's on Ebay wife says I have WAY to many toys, she is probably right but each was purchased for a particular purpose just that most of those purposes have long gone by.

I have my old Mitac Mio 168 WM2003 and two Dell Axim x51v WM5 and WM6.1, and all are very well upgraded especially the Mio which I STILL use!

I understand what you mean about buying things for a purpose and then that fading away or often never materialising. In the case of my Pocket PCs though I have had a LOT of use from them all in many different situations.

I now have a Samsung Galaxy S4 clone in the shape of an Elephone P8; same features and performance at a fraction of the Samsung price...I got mine for £165 but it currently costs around £127! The Antutu benchmark score was 27364 but that was before I added more apps when it was new in April.

However I still use my Pocket PCs, especially the Dell Axim x51v for when I need TomTom sat nav. I have TomTom on my new Elephone P8 but I cannot always rely upon that working properly, plus the battery drain is collosal! I have a large 3600mAh battery on my Dell which will last for days on one charge, using high draining software and WiFi / GPS / Bluetooth etc. Also I still have not found a way to image the Android operating system like I can with Windows Mobile on the Pocket PCs. Even if I rooted my Android phone I still doubt if there is any imaging software out there, well one that does a PROPER image.

I still use my HP iPaq 2210/2215. I don't have a smartphone and can't picture playing crossword puzzles or my favorite Solitaire package without a stylus. Some of those Solitaire games take up an awful lot of screen room!

It keeps shutting down by itself, though. Still can't figure out if it's the battery or something more serious internally.
