I did a small tutorial some time ago about unlocking Transonic TS 7000T (accessing Windows taskbar).
I use this solution since last year without any problems.
It has the nice advantage of being persistent even if battery goes flat or by mistake I do a hard-reset being far away from a PC. At the same time, if I remove the "special" SD card and I insert the original Navigon card the device is like "brand new"
