hi there.

i want to buy a new device with gps support.

right now i have a samsung sgh-i550 where (not even the first) gps-fix takes at least 30minutes. i also testet the Nokia N95 GPS.. same result.

so i decided to try a new devices with internal gps where the gps-fix doesnt take that much.

As far as i know the TyTn II. has a very good gps-fix, but right at the moment a bit too expensive for me.

i prefere a windows mobile device and no symbian bull****.
both, touchscreen and (keypad or qwerty keyboard) would be great.
but at least it must have a keypad since writing sms with touchscreen is so awful.

what do you think about the HTC Nike (Touch Dual / P5500 a.k.a. MDA Touch Plus)
has anyone made experiences with this device and the internal gps.
or what else could you recommend me to buy.

thx.

I heard that Nokia's GPS is useless, take damn long time to acqire GPS fix.

Usually SirfIII devices have great speed and performance, but it depends on the chipset model. Personally I have a HTC Trinity with a built-in GPS (non-sirf, forgot the chipset name, sorry) and I must admit it works like a charm... :)
