I made some small video clips primarily to test the speeds of new devices but it would be good if all users could leave results so we get a good cross sections of results.

Use Coreplayer (download here Coreplayer) and go to Menu-Tools-Benchmark. Important; Do not interrupt the benchmark, let it finish the whole clip. Running all 4 will take around 15 mins depending on your device.
Make sure you do not have an A2DP headset connected when you run the benchmarks and they should be run immediately after a soft-reset. If you have SRS WOW-HD installed you should also disable it.

Aren't there a few settings which would influence the results, especially on the x264 files?
Try being a bit more specific about the configuration.

I don't think any changes will effect the benchmark. For instance I tried high video quality (standard setting) and low on the x264 files, it results in almost the same score.

BTW, Wam now that you started the thread, it would be nice if you kept highscore records.

Oh I am one step a ahead of you. ;) Once I got enough results I planned to do a graph/table (or ask somebody to do one) So far it makes interesting reading and I have always wondered how different devices compared. I am quite interested in how older PPC's do...
