If it does not belong anywhere else and has to do with iPad post it here.

Does anyone have this problem or any advice on how to fix this?

When I go to read a book in iBooks on my iPad, part of the page or the whole page will be blacked out. I have to leave iBooks then reopen it and then the page will then open properly for reading. Then the same thing happens again as soon as I turn a page. It's really annoying and I'm stumped at what the problem is?

I think I fixed it. Some people online were reporting issues as well & said check the update. Sure enough they just came out with a iOS 10.1 update to fix the bugs. Now the books seem to be loading a viewing properly.

Open iBooks

1. Locate the EPUB file on your computer. Unless you've changed your browser settings, books should save to your Downloads folder by default.
2. Double-click the file, or select the file and press Command + O, to open it in iBooks.
3. To listen to the audio, highlight the text that you'd like to hear.
