I know all this and it's not about difficulty. Many users including me, don't want to install 3rd party apps just for a simple installation. It's not about rooting for ex.
SAI is a custom way to run patched apps that has been made by a coder. And this new SAI uploading style is just a way to force the others to use his app. Nice marketing, nothing against it, but not so "wanted" from most of the users.
It's not because the apps cannot be patched without it. It's all about forced installation process and limitation. And this is not good for the majority of the users.

I agree and many users do not want to install SAI on their device ...... Though all the up loaders , uploads are good , it is just the ones like this that need SAI .... Patched versions would be easier
