put the file in the root directory of SD card. Power off/on and you have the Win CE desktop (in chinese ).

on the desktop you will find the program usbloader.exe. You can set "Serial class" and you'll have full access to all drives via Activesync or vista explorer.

When you make Hard reset each time you will have the desktop (restored to original form), with the standby button you return to the original state. Don't try to start from the explorer the original navigation.exe, because the task bar is messing up with the Igo.

Put the ASUSBackDoorYork.dll on the SD root
Reset the pna and you can access to different tools
The Igo files are in the flashdisk

no, mine it's starting and work very well...
i copy flashdisk to PC and archived.

i compared files yours and mine and look almost identical, except licenses files and few subfolder (i believe not important).

but i have another problem, don't work with new maps version 2008.01 (r.i.p.)
i think we must wait to cr...ed version of igo8.

the problem with he missing files is the using of backdoor only. some files in the "windows" and "flashdisk" are hidden for explorer (even the internal WinCE one). you should use the modified Asus_userflashcopy.dll i posted before, so you can enter in the desktop of the device. then use WinCE TotalCommander (http://rapidshare.com/files/110010071/cecmd.exe, standalone, without installation), it can "see" all files.

P.S. don't pay so much attention to the checksum.ini... it seems it only keeps the program, not the maps and licenses.

I tried your files linbul but it's still not working. Th navigation app start and stop after 2 seconds.
I tried also to run another software with my r300 but wthe i run setup.exe the system tell me that one of the file is missing.

Cannot find 'setup' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and all the required libraries are available

I tried miomaps, tomtom, igo 2006 .. and allways the same message.
Any idea ?

sorry to hear that. it's 100% sure you couldtn't run the igo8 from my copy directly. as for now the asus application is generating some checksum connected with the IMEI code of the device so it couldn't be copied. i think igo is using that checksum too...
i managed to adapt the MioAutorun unlock packet and everything is working fine... soon (in a few days) I'll publish the whole packet with autorun option.

GREAT JOB!!! tested it and working great... the colors are fine. and with the pack i was talking about you could change the MP3 player to CorePlayer or something else that could be minimized and running (tested already).
