I started Burley Cross Postbox Theft by Nicola Barker, but couldn't get into it, so put it aside in favor of Winter by Ali Smith.

Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer. I'm certainly not going to bother seeing the film. So far everything I've read and seen about the movie shows that it has almost nothing, apart from the title, to do with the book. After finishing the book last night I'm even more determined that I'm not going to waste any money seeing the film. Instead I'll use the ticket money to buy the second volume of the trilogy.
