I have a Kindle Paperwhite so I do most of my "shopping" at Amazon, but sometimes an ebook is not available for Kindle.

Where are some good places to find out if an ebook has been released as an .ePUB?

Right now, I use my local library's website or Overdrive.

ebook.bike is nice place to pick up epubs. You can also download from a device directly to kindle/overdrive/google books if you're using a phone or tablet, no calibre required. Only downside is it goes down fairly frequently. ebookhunter.net is another, but they seem to gravitate more towards romances than anything else.

For other sites to get epubs we already have a topic called eBook Links & Resources, thank you!

I'll take a look at those, thanks!

However, I may not have been clear. What I mean is, it's easy to find out what's available for Kindle by going to Amazon, right? So where should I go to find out what's available as an epub?

fantasticfiction.com - especially good for looking into what is 'Coming Soon', and finding titles with book summary by author.

For future helpful users who'd like to contribute: please stick to the user's question "where can I find out whether a book has been released in ePUB format?"

This topic is not about downloading epubs, we already have a topic with 21 pages of such information called eBook Links & Resources, thank you!

Or try BN.com. Barnes and Noble carries a very good selection of ebooks even if their prices are too high.
