Davina Porter (Splendors and Glooms), Peter Kenny (The Witchers series). They're superb, and they really bring the stories to life

I like Davina Porter (besides the book mentioned above, she narrates the Outlander books and does a great job). I like both of the Harry Potter narrators, but probably Jim Dale better. I like Zachary Webber for romance (he has a very smooth, soothing voice). I'm not too choosy. If it's a book I can listen to, I'm all in!

Will Wheaton does a pretty good job with Scalzi's books.

I really can’t get into audio books. I have tried a few but they irritate the hell out of me, Regardless of who’s reading them.

I quite enjoy Nick Podehl. He's kind of the top of the high/epic fantasy genre right now, and you can find him on authors like Patrick Rothfuss and Aleron Kong (LitRPG). My own narrator is Adam Gold, who won a competition on my mailing list/beta readers. He usually does romance and thrillers. If it weren't for his audition, which knocked it out of the park for fans/readers, who knows who it might have been though.

I will try almost anything read by Stefan Rudnicki...well, anything science fiction or fantasy at least.

More recently I was really impressed by John Banks' work on the Books of Babel (Senlin Ascends, et al). His female voices might be the best ones done by a male reader I've so far heard.

Imogen Church is amazing - just listened to Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware and she really brings it to life with different voice characters, male and female. Look forward to listening to more of her work.

It’s be terrific if threads could exist without trolls like you!!! I reported you but the mods didn’t care.

A tiny portion of a huge list is as follows as I try to find books by the narrator and then consider the author and vice versa:

Joel Leslie
Greg Trembley
Alexander cendese
KC Kelly
Tristen James
Iggy Toma
etc.

I can go on forever as I "read" audiobooks while cleaning, cooking, driving, etc.
