Image Uploader for Mobilism

This is a simple Browser Extension which allows you to right-click any image online and auto uploads to true.gallery. It also auto resizes to either Single images at 320x240 or Multiple images at 240x160 and Large images at 500xAuto

VERSION HISTORY:

• Version 1.0.9 (Chrome Only) - Fix error when trying to upload image ending in _lg.jpg
• Version 1.0.8 - (Firefox Only) Getting error when url has [IMG] tag. rewrote code so link gets sent to clipboard straight away.
• Version 1.0.7 - Change server back to images.mobilism.org, also links will only use resized url from now on.
• Version 1.0.6 - Made images private, so they don't show on sites gallery, won't effect hotlinking and posting images.
• Version 1.0.5 - Added another option of image size of 500 height by Auto width, for larger images and android posts.
• Version 1.0.4 - Replace host from images.mobilism.org to true.gallery as mobilism image host is down.
• Version 1.0.3 - Fixed problem with extension stopped working, due to https problem.
• Version 1.0.2 - Changed it so when you select single image option there is no [img] tag to make it quicker copying and pasting using template mode when making a new post.
• Version 1.0.1 - Tested and working on Opera, new "MI" Mobilism Images icon/logo, add feature to select different image resolutions.
• Version 1.0.0 - Created extension and working on chrome.

Because I didn't want to pay and post it publicly to Chrome Store you have to follow these steps to get it installed.

Installation for Chrome:

1. Download the Imgilism.zip file and extract it somewhere safe e.g C:/Imgilism/
2. Open this URL in chrome: chrome://extensions/
3. On the top-right enable 'Developer Mode'
4. Then click 'load unpacked' and select the place you extracted the zip to e.g C:/Imgilism/
5. Now you will see the extension installed and should be working fine. Test it out by right-clicking a image and see if it works like in "Demo" image above.

Hmm. It doesn't work on images from Amazon for me. Even if I save it to my desktop and then open it in Chrome, it doesn't. Poo. lol

I will try and make it for firefox as well, It shouldn't be too hard as I think extension work nearly the same. I will let you know.

Nothing happens when I click on the option. No error, but no link or any popup. I got it to work on a random image from Google, so I know it works and I know how it looks when it happens, but... I'll try again. Maybe it was just that book cover. *shrug*

Okay, so if you click on the book cover and pop up the "inside of the book," then scroll up to the cover again, it doesn't work. If you click on the small image on the main book page, it works fine. So...cool. That works.

FireFox Update
Manage to get it to sort of work on FF most of the code is the same, problem is when it uploads image it won't send URL back so it useless at the minute lol. As I'm not a coder/programmer it my take me a while to figure out my way is a little bit of knowledge and a lot of googling.

Like I said my not that good at coding but I've have made a new version of the extension with that feature. It's not done in the settings because I don't know how lol and it would take a while to figure out so I've done it like this.

FireFox Update: I've manage to figure out that FireFox does not allow dialog windows or prompt windows anymore and that's why it won't show the link. I can make it open in a new tab and you can copy link from address bar but I want to make it like the chrome one.

I'm looking into making it so it show links on the same page as the image you originally clicked on, but I'm still experimenting. Worse comes to worse it will just have to open a new tab that you copy link manually, it will still auto upload and resize.

I will let you know what I do, I'm only doing this is spare time so it might take a while lol.

Added Firefox download links, you can also look at the Firefox Demo image/GIF to see how to install.

The Firefox only version works fine but the link will be opened in a new tab, that will have to do for now if I figure out another way I will update.
