Just got on board the Calibre train and am organizing my books in there. Currently I have about 850 books (give or take). Shockingly it takes up about just over 700MB.

I currently have 220 ebooks on my kindle and I usually delete them after I have read them. On my laptop I have about 1000 ebooks.

I've got 1,032 books on my Kindle and 217 on my Nook. Plus some more on my laptop but I don't know how many. I thought that was a lot until I read this thread. :)

Taking into account that I erase the books I've already read, I have 200ish (more towards 300, tbh) waiting to be read.

Too many for my Kindle Paperwhite to install an update.

Crap.

Just under 13,000 in Calibre though. The main library that is. I have separate libraries for comics and such, cookbooks and home/garden, 3 others (for The Husband), and a sandbox for stuff I'm working on (major editing, sorting large series).

I hear they have medication for this kind of thing.

about 1.500 on calibre, roughly 75-80% already read
I keep on my kobo the books that I still haven't read and the ones I may want to re-read, so about 300 titles

I like to keep my numbers manageable :D

nah, 300 is still manageable :D
Goodreads is a huge help in that regard, allowing me to keep my calibre library organized :)

I keep it to a bare minimum. About 5 books at a time, I get distracted and jump from book to book otherwise.
I delete after reading and replace with new books.

I have around 700 stored in a cloud storage website, I read on my iphone which always seems to be running out of space so I download the books I'm currently reading from the cloud and delete the ones I finish from my phone and download some more new ones!

About 1100 books on my tablet (almost all history), with another 12,000 or so on my pc (history, military history, politics, sociology, with a few fiction). Despite loving my tablet and being able to expand my collection for free via sites like mobilism, I don't get the same thrill when opening my tablet/pc as I do walking into my den where I keep my 3000 or so physical books. I would love to have the money to replace some of my ebooks with physical ones.

@Sheldonesque - I know what you mean! I have always - *always* - fantasized about what I wanted my library to look like and I just delight in seeing shelves and shelves of books. Unfortunately, we had to drastically downsize so I'm doing the opposite of what I always wanted: replacing my physical books with ebooks.

My great consolation is that now I can actually have more books than I ever imagined! :)
