As I wrote several times already, the app has been disabled while we work out problems with excessive load usage.

When you are on a page for an app you will see an eye at the top click on that and it will add that to the list. When there is a new release you will get a pop-up telling you of a new version.

Wow, So many thanks for your answer!

No, the app has been disabled for now, until they iron out a problem.

It will come back online as soon as they identify and fix the problem.

You can still use the website to browse and download what you need.. ;)

Maybe it was a bit premature to disable Mobile Market 1.9, despite the developer not being apart of the site, anymore. At least, until the bugs in 2.0 are, for the majority, worked out. Perhaps, releasing 2.0 as a beta, so those who wanted to test it, could do so, while those of us who just want to keep up to date on apps could use 1.9. Especially those of us, which I'm willing to bet there are a lot, who need to watch our data and simply want the ease of the old 1.9, back. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess. If the immediate issues with 2.0 aren't resolved by the beginning of the week, I say bring back 1.9, temporarily. It's the right thing to do.

Hmmm... One of the issues of the high load might be the default loading of all the thumbnails. Don't know the arquitecture of mobilism, but unless you offload these assets to a CDN you'll need a big server farm to support the load...

Hope you solve the problem soon and thank you for the time and effort!

Cheers

I know until I turned off the images and went to the simple view I was using a whole lot of data looking just testing the app. Some place like 75 mb compared to less than 15 with the old app.
It was much better after I found the setting.
I personally wouldlike a setting for no images except the ones I need to see.

Despite some loading issues (which you all are currently fixing) I am loving this new app.
I like that I can log in and give thanks where thanks is due. Also it is aesthetically more appealing

Keep up the great work!!!

Blown away by the new app and premium is just incredible. Sadly, I'm having withdrawals now since its been down for the past few days and just perma spin loads. I'm looking forward to it coming back.

I would recommend having a timer function for the free accounts that limits features for example a timer between downloads where you gotta wait 30 seconds before you can open up another items description, limit the latest releases for X-days (1 - 7 days depending on release by popular demand) before free accounts are able to access them and can only see the information but the links are blocked. That could help bring down the load increase at the same time promote premium account sales.
