The Lost Sister
A miserable home life makes seventeen-year-old Tara Tamasy run away. Wearing just the clothes on her back, she flees her upper-crust, dysfunctional family. She is instantly drawn into the dangerous, unforgiving world of the streets, and unending hunger eventually forces Tara to turn to any means necessary to ensure her survival. Years later, she manages to escape and starts a new life, but she desperately wants to bury the memories of her former life. Concealing her history from everyone decent, Tara continues to do all that is necessary for her to survive.

Tara moves to a small town and gets a job working in a diner. That’s where she meets Fish and Wildlife Officer Ryder Kincaid and his young son, Wyatt. Instantly, she is drawn to them and soon becomes convinced there is something more between them than just friendship. It sort of resembles what a family could be.

Ryder also suffered after his wife finally disappeared leaving behind their young son for Ryder to care for all alone. He swears off all relationships after that. The only drama he has in his life comes from raising his son. But when Tara manages to penetrate his carefully guarded defense wall, Ryder can only hope he has something real and lasting with her. It seems that way until her long-lost brother finds her. Now, the very same family that sent Tara fleeing into the streets attempts to draw her back into it, mercilessly exposing her past and her secrets to the one person she would do anything to keep them from.

The Remaining Sister
Chloe Carrington believed for over three years that her identical twin sister, Ebony, ran away from her husband and son to find a new life. That is until her dead body is discovered. With no trail, no witnesses, and no clues, discovering the identity of the murderer is a difficult task. Chloe is left grieving once again for a sister who will never return. In her grief, she finds solace in the last person she ever expects to: Chet Willapana. She knows next to nothing about him. Yet he’s the only one who can help her survive the clashing emotions that threaten to destroy her.

Faced with Chloe’s mental devastation, Chet tries to help her in every way he can, although not in the ways Chloe expects. He was quiet about it for years, and now? He’s done pretending. She soon discovers he isn’t anything like she once believed. He might, in fact, be everything she is missing in her life.

But Ebony’s murderer soon makes his presence known once again. For Chet and Chloe, fear, grief, and need forge a strong connection, one that takes both of them by surprise. Events eventually draw Ebony’s killer out, along with their undeniable feelings for each other. But in order to survive, they first have to discover who killed her sister and why. Fearing Chloe’s safety, because she is the only remaining connection to a dead woman, the man who already murdered her sister is now back to finish the job. This time, once and for all.

The Step Sister
Julia Lindstrom has a family who loves her, but outside circumstances make her feel like she doesn’t belong. Suffering as a teen from deep anxiety, she believes it is nature’s cosmic joke after giving her the most emotionally messy woman alive, as her mother. She lives in constant fear she will repeat the myriad mistakes that her mother has made. She then takes a new job in the construction industry and starts working for Lloyd Cartwright and Chris Vaughn. She inevitably develops a relationship with both men, and fears her life has become almost parallel to her mother’s history.

Chris Vaughn began working for his dad by accident. Now, four years later, Chris manages to make a successful and lucrative career from it. However, he half detests and half reveres the man whom he calls his boss and also his dad. Meanwhile, his boss/dad doesn’t realize their connection. Chris accidentally and quite unwillingly finds himself in the throes of competition for Julia… against his dad. But Chris must determine whether he is subconsciously trying to destroy his dad for abandoning him, or merely intending to accelerate his own ambition. Ultimately, he worries that, in the end, what he seeks and desires the most could be at odds with what he should do.
