Overview: Living in a world where you're the best at what you do as a human being seems lovely. You'd think that you could be rich, that you'd have an easy life, that you'd have hardly any problems at all. And while that may have been true centuries ago, that was not Taia Morris's reality. Taia was great. But Supes were better. They were the subsection of humanity that had evolved to have varying super powers and abilities and while smaller in number than normal humans, ruled over humans with an iron fist. Normal humans were seen as nothing more than slaves or pets. So it made sense to Taia to fight against this Supe Regime. To hate them with everything she had and to become the best cadet she could be so that she could be a soldier of the Resistance and kill Supes for what they had done to her and what they had done to her family. She has her entire life figured out; she's going to kill any Supe she comes across. And all of that seems well and good until a Supe saves her life and she realizes that there is a thin line between love and hate. Taia soon finds herself not sure what decision to make; because she's not sure if this Supe is worth the risk because he is either going to save the world and become someone she can love or destroy everything she loves already.
