Clint hopes this light-hearted, swashbuckling adventure will allow him to relax. But, when they reach the halfling port city of Clearwater, the fun comes to an end. The citizens of Clearwater face a crisis that threatens to tear the city apart.
With the twin problems of his workload and the plight of the citizens of Clearwater weighing on him, Clint must muster all his strength and determination and hope that they – along with his friends – can stop the evil plaguing Clearwater.
#3 - The Tainted Wood
Clint just quit his job and is now officially dating Mary, his longtime gaming partner and real-life friend. With seemingly endless opportunities in the real world opening in front of him, for the first time in a long time, Clint is actually excited about waking up in the morning. His elation only grows when he and his new girlfriend visit a game convention centered around their favorite game.
Things get even better when a game representative offers them a nice sum of money to play Unexplored in front of a live audience. Now is his chance to be a hero in the real world! Everything is looking up!
The same can’t be said for the world of Unexplored. A mysterious magical taint has taken hold of the land and is slowly killing the forest. Cleave, Clint’s alter ego, along with Tarka, the Kobold, and Krug, the half-giant, must stop this plague from spreading and killing the entire forest. Cleave, Tarka, and Krug must face their greatest challenge yet in order to save not only thousands of in-game lives, but the entire world of Unexplored.
