Ghost Marshals by Sebastian Martinez (Agents of Tenebris #1)

Overview: Months after the horrible events of a casualty-ridden mission, Lieutenant Kevin Fischer has been discharged from his service in the Marines only to reluctantly join the enigmatic organization, The Tenebris Cogere. He soon finds himself as the commanding officer of a task force known as the Ghost Marshals. However, the Tenebris Cogere wants him to recruit each member so he may be better acquainted with them. The catch is that each member is not just a normal person fresh out of bootcamp, these are the freaks that hide in the shadows of our society. Ezekiel Freeman, a slave-turned-assassin from the Civil War era resurrected by unknown forces to exact a hellish revenge on the men and women responsible for his premature death; Amy Sails, a potentially powerful telekinetic who is on a mission to find out who she really is; Nikoletta Tolten, the estranged wife of a maniacal vampire who has been in and out of hiding from him since the early 1900s; And Matthew Scarron, a Journalist-turned-vigilante who is possessed by a Demon known only as Vorael.
In order to make the Ghost Marshals a reality, Kevin must bring these individuals together, but in Kevin's way of recruiting each of them is a rival organization known as the Hades Syndicate, Nikoletta's Vampiric husband, James Tolten, and a private security group consisting of reanimated corpses known as the West Company. As they overcome these obstacles and become the team that their organization wants them to become they will learn that they have more in common together than they did alone. Their training and revelations will prepare them for what they're organization hears of next, whispers of an invasion that echo throughout the Tenebris Cogere. As the rumors become real, the Ghost Marshals will be prepared to defend Earth against a mighty force that outnumbers them a thousand to one. This battle will test their abilities as individuals and as a team, but it may break them.
