The first is a post-apocalyptic "hero's journey" through the human condition; the second follows a branching narrative structure that borrows elements from the classic Choose Your Own Adventure and Lone Wolf gamebooks, then updates the genre with quality writing and adult themes.
Kyle B. Stiff has been around long enough to know that he knows very little about the world, but he still studies mythology and human behavior because it's fun to make an effort to understand. He currently lives with his soulmate somewhere in Kentucky.

Demonworld (Demonworld, #1)
Demonworld is the first in a series that chronicles the life of Wodan, a son of laborers and heir to an amazing destiny.
Wodi grew up hearing tales of the outside world. Living in an isolated, technologically advanced city, it was hard to imagine that the rest of humanity suffered at the hands of sadistic, godlike monsters called flesh demons. Then Wodi finds himself exiled into the wasteland, victim of a death sentence handed out for no reason that he can understand. Moving boxes in his father’s store and attending the local university did nothing to prepare him for the horrors that lay ahead.
Unfortunately for the ones behind his exile, the wasteland turns Wodi into a force to be reckoned with. His journey through baking, wind-tortured deserts and poisoned oases wakes something up inside of him, and Wodi learns that the human spirit has strength that few can imagine… and also comes equipped with terrifying weapons that those who crossed him cannot even begin to comprehend.

Wodan has returned to Haven, but his homeland no longer seems quite like home now that his eyes have been opened by the wasteland. When everyone around him is either deluded or possibly in on the conspiracy against him, Wodan’s only guidance can come from the broken circle of old men that he once considered his heroes.
Pontius, a city in the wasteland ruled by four gangs locked in an eternal orgy of violence, learns of the existence of Haven and its advanced technology.
