1. The Mad Mick - Conor Maguire nearly lost his daughter Barb when she was three years old, injured by the drunk driver that killed his wife. When the justice system failed him, Conor -- the son and grandson of IRA bombers -- retaliated against the driver in dramatic and gruesome fashion.
While an ironclad alibi prevented the police from pinning the murder on Conor, it did not prevent a covert agency within the US government from recruiting the talented young bomber and machinist. For over twenty-five years, Conor designed and built custom weapons of death and destruction at his compound in the mountains of Virginia.
Then a series of devastating terror attacks brought down the United States. Conor and Barb assumed they were safe in their secure compound. They had food and a water source. They were armed and highly-trained. Then Barb was kidnapped.
The kidnappers, needing slave labor for their farm, didn’t know why Conor was known as The Mad Mick. They didn’t know the fear and respect his name invoked in the shadowy world of covert operations. They didn’t know that when it came to protecting his family, he was without conscience, without compassion, and without equal.
But they would soon find out.

3. Brutal Business - When newcomers arrive in Conor Maguire's territory, they bring word of an enemy approaching from the north. They wear military uniforms, carry military weapons, and drive military trucks. Like a plaque of locusts, they sweep through every town in their path and pick it clean. In their wake, they leave ashes and atrocity.
When it appears this enemy is on a collision course with their community, Conor must build an army to intercept them. This is no easy task since his daughter's abrasive manner has divided the community. Their hasty alliance will be tested. Roles and relationships will be challenged.
Against this larger, more highly-trained force, it falls on Conor to do what he does best. To rain chaos, savagery, and utter devastation upon his enemy. After all, there's a reason they call him The Mad Mick.

4. Northern Sun - A new mission. An old rival. The powerful secret that binds them.
Since the U.S. collapsed into chaos, Conor Maguire has fought to keep his family and friends safe, turning away attackers who threatened their community, seeking to live off the spoils of theft and murder. Fortunately, Conor is no stranger to fighting. In fact it’s his job. He’s an old-school assassin with an arsenal of wicked tricks up his sleeve.
When Conor is called back to work for the first time since the terror attacks, he learns that business is good. With no media and no law, anyone with a score to settle is working hard to take out their enemies before order is restored. A high-end assassin with an impressive resume can set their own price.
When Conor and his partner reach their target they find that all is not as it seems. One small job, killing a shady financier, quickly becomes something larger. However, this discovery will pale in comparison to the biggest revelation of this mission—a secret that will change Conor’s life forever.

5. Punching Tickets - In his last mission, Conor Maguire was called back into action by his handler, Ricardo, to go after a man who helped facilitate the terror attacks that devastated America. The intelligence garnered in that operation exposed a network of traitors within the American government—officials who had advance warning of the attacks and did nothing to alert the American people. Worse yet, they sought to take advantage of the situation, seeing it as an opportunity to further their own vision of government.
When Ricardo next pays Conor a visit, it's at the behest of a shadowy collective of patriots determined to purge the government of those who sold out the nation. It should have been a simple mission, a short trip to "punch tickets" in the way that Conor had successfully done hundreds of times around the world.
But nothing in this mission will be simple. Conor and his team find themselves thwarted or compromised at every turn. They're pushed to the edge physically and emotionally. When the dust finally settles, their world will be entirely different, the path ahead more uncertain than ever.

6. Ultraviolent - Two violent men headed for an inevitable showdown and nothing in their lives will ever be the same again.
After his last mission collapsed into utter failure, Conor Maguire and his daughter Barb returned to the U.S. only to confirm their worst fears—Conor's friend and longtime handler, Ricardo, is presumed dead. Worse yet, Conor's new boss is none other than the man who ordered the hit, Billy Browning, and he's long held a grudge against Conor. Conor is given an ultimatum: work for Browning or lose his compound to a missile strike.
Seeing no other choice, Conor agrees to Browning's offer, figuring that will give him time to come up with a plan. For months, he carries the satellite phone that Browning gave him, waiting for the inevitable call. When it finally rings, Conor gets his first orders. He's to visit a nearby county and terminate an insurgent named Jim Powell, killing his entire family and his network of supporters.
Conor has killed a lot of men, but he struggles with these orders. He's working for a man he hates at the behest of a cabal of traitors now running the U.S. government. Yet the consequences for failure are the utter destruction of the compound that's kept his friends and family safe since the onset of the collapse. Barb is less uncertain, ready to pull the trigger on this insurgent who means nothing to her. Conor, however, cannot forget the old saying that the enemy of his enemy just might be his friend.

7. The Death Dealer's Manual - Across America, citizens of this once proud nation sit in the dark, slowly starving to death. Most are dirty and sick. They've been abandoned by politicians and bureaucrats who continued to grow fatter and richer during the collapse. Foreign governments court the nation's leaders, putting them up on cruise ships and in foreign hotels, while the average American lives in squalor, ignored and abandoned.
A reluctant savior rises from an unlikely direction. He doesn't need the politicians nor the American government. They represent everything he despises. He's a doer. A self-made man who builds empires and creates jobs. When he says he's going to do something, he does everything in his power to make it happen.
In short, he's exactly the opposite of those leading the country.
As this unlikely leader decides it's time to put his plan in place, Conor and Ricardo are in the Washington D.C. area on a mission to retrieve a cache of supplies. Through a chance meeting, the two get sucked into a whirlwind of conspiracy, murder, and a totally unorthodox plan for rebuilding the nation.

8. American Oligarch - The Mad Mick’s new employer, Walter Lightspeed, has promised great things for America. Lightspeed cleared the way for his rise to power by skimming the dead weight off government, assassinating a legion of career politicians, lobbyists, and agency heads. Now only one barrier remains between him and the presidency—wrangling the support of the military.
If he lives that long.
Conor and Ricardo have their concerns about Lightspeed, but that’s not enough to make them surrender their lucrative contract work with him. If Lightspeed can do the things he promises, their small company will be well-positioned in his new administration. In fact, Conor is already making major changes in preparation for it, taking steps back home he thought he'd never take.
But great reward only comes with great risk. As Conor soon finds out, it’s not only Walter Lightspeed and his employees who share in those risks. When you operate at this level, even family becomes fair game.

9. Shift Point - What happens when success is impossible and failure isn’t an option?
In the ninth installment in the bestselling Mad Mick Series, several months have passed since Walter Lightspeed demonstrated he could restore power to the United States using his innovative wireless power delivery system. After a year in the dark, America was finally on the rebound. Optimism soared as people imagined an end to the most difficult period in modern American history.
Lightspeed’s success allowed him to take the office of President and gain the support of the military. With their backing—and the assistance of Conor, Ricardo, and their team—Lightspeed’s efforts to restore power were accelerated. He was making regular radio addresses to the American public to keep them updated and raise their spirits. He made Wi-Fi available to regions with power so people could use their phones to catch up on news and monitor the progress of power restoration. Jobs and aid were available for those who wanted them.
But Lightspeed underestimated his enemies.
The political establishment would rather leave the nation in ruin than allow an outsider to sit at their table. There were new enemies rising from outside of the country, but also from within its borders. There were the Luddites who decided that a year without power had restored balance and purpose to their lives. There were the foreign actors determined to strike in this moment of national vulnerability. There were even those within Lightspeed’s own organization who had become disillusioned with the way he was doing things and conspired against him.
These attempts to sabotage his national recovery effort are raising serious questions for Lightspeed and his team. What has America become? Is it a nation beyond repair? Is destruction of the enemy more important than compromise?
Was it more important than saving the nation?

10. Dislocated - After Chinese missiles destroy Camp David, the Lightspeed organization is in shambles. Self-appointed president Walter Lightspeed is dead and he’s taken the secrets of his wireless power grid with him. After a brief respite from the apocalypse, America has been thrown back into the dark.
China is taking advantage of the chaos, sending covert teams into America to target those likely to resist their plan to annex America. Conor and Ricardo are on that list, but they have been targeted before and they won’t go down without a fight.
