Overview: The Five Find-Outers and Dog, also known as The Five Find-Outers, is a series of children's mystery books written by Enid Blyton and first published between 1943 and 1961. The Five Find-Outers are Fatty, Larry, Daisy, Pip, Bets and Fatty's dog, Buster. The children specialise in solving crimes in the village of Peterswood, annoying the silly policeman Mr Goon but always winning the praise of Inspector Jenks when they solve their cases. They do all the necessary detective work - looking for clues, wearing disguises, interviewing suspects - and solving cases!
