I tried to make it clear. That you must use a map with a meta code available..
"Maps can not be activated until meta is available." that means auto-install also

Okay thanks! I thought the availability of an automatic installer implied working meta. I will try another map tomorrow!

So, now I tried the automatic installer for "Central_Europe 920_5241" and I still get the same error message. The ...meta-File contains lots of weird characters and is really long. Should I just replace all that with the meta code "F3 AF 11 B7 68 18 E3 8B 9E 18 D2 3E CD 6C B9 70 Central_Europe-849.meta ; Central_Europe 920_5241"?

convince yourself that you need a version of the map .. Download the correct version that matches the device ... meta is fine for this type of maps so that the map is activated, but it is impossible to read, the same problem I had when I first put the map, and I took another version
