I just finished reading Tess Gerritsen's The Shape of Night and I really enjoyed it. Can anyone recommend anything similar - a ghostly thriller that isn't cozy? I don't mind a bit of romance but nothing predominant. I'd appreciate any help. : )

Hi, have you tried the `In Death` series by Nora Roberts aka JD Robb?
There`s not really a ghostly aspect in the books but there are some paranormal elements in the books although it`s very subtle. There`s also some romance in the series but it`s more of a back story after the first three books.
