Can anyone tell me more about it?

As far as I can tell, the first and second Thirst books are omnibus reissues of the The Last Vampire series, three books in one for each of them. But what about the other books - is it new material?

Help is appreciated!

I only read the first book and I loved it. I will eventually read the rest. As far as I can tell they are well written.

Great books. I read the original six in the late 90's. Nice to see Pike is adding to the collection. I snagged Thirst 5 yesterday, planning on starting it as soon as I finish my current book.

i was so ecstatic when i found out he was writing more! i thought it was only a reprint, no new stories....i was a little disappointed in how he explained what was a very FINAL ending to the original 6, in the 7th, but am glad that Sita's story continues. Pike did say that he always planned to do more of the series, so it kind of makes the whole....wait, i mean this series was totally over, and now you're just gonna explain away the prev ending in some cliche soap opera way? idk, i don't want ot give away the ending of 6 or what pike explains in 7, why the series is continuing...

I think I've read the first three books. I just haven't gotten around to reading the next few. Hopefully I do. It was hard to get into, so much self-reflection, but in the end I was glad I did. It was a different from all of the other vampire books out there these days.

Thank you for posting this thread! i read the original series years ago and thought it was one of the better series i had read! never knew there was a new one in 2010! New reading material yay! :) Also have to add i was very annoyed at the way the 6th book ended! it was a major let down to an awsome series.

C. Pike is continuing the series! Thirst 6,7 and 8 will be self published I think! I read LV when I was 12, and still love it ~

Does anyone know if the audiobook version of these books are available anywhere? All I seem to be able to find is book 3.. which isn't available in my region (or via other methods..) :
