it's been a while since I read but, but I did get through it. I would say try pushing through. But I would also say don't force yourself if you're not enjoying yourself!

I love reading series, but by the 3rd or 4th book, I get way too tired.

The movie did suck lol compared to the books at least

I've only read book one. I watched the movie first, then read the book. Books are most often better than the movie version. In my experience anyway.

I really enjoyed the series.
I tried reading the Dangerous Creatures books that came out following Ridley I believe and just couldnt quite get into it.
i do plan on trying again though
