The worst book I've read so far (I just got into reading) is Another Day by David Levithan. I stopped reading it after 50 pages. It was the same exact story as Every Day but the story is told by a different character...talk about a "unique" sequal.

Empress Theresa is the worst book I think ever to be publish 4 pages in you`ll just give up due to the childish writing of the author and the cover is just awful.

13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher. The TV series sucks too.

Bridal Boot Camp by Meg Cabot -- the main character was shallow in terms of personality and character development. Moreso than the author's other stuff. The main character was also just problematic, and the love/interest had no development at all. It was a romance novel squashed into a short booklet.

I also hated the Summer series by Jenny Han. It was all over the place with a whiny main character.

Can agree with this looking back on it. Though I did like the vibe of the audiobook because you hear Hannah on the tapes as it is such an audio medium of a book, it really lends itself to it. Didn't watch the series past 1.

Forgotten Souls by Rooster Smith prompted me to leave my first 1-star rating on Amazon:

"1.0 out of 5 stars
Terrible. Simply terrible.
Stop him before he writes again! This is the lowest level of amateur tripe, barely readable and with the sketchiest of plots. A great argument in favor of professional editors. Don’t waste your time."
