Jet Audio Player has all the customization/theme editing that I could ever want to match my color scheme. Also mods that include links to the DSP addons make this the best one IMO.

PowerAmp is too much of a hassle to maintain because of how annoying the Pro Unlocking nonsense is. Props to the PowerAmp devs for making it such a nuisance to hack - but I personally don't think it's that much better except for the fact it's so popular and has a lot of custom themes etc. for it from fans.

Neutron Player is amazing too btw, but again; annoying to unlock and keep it unlocked (especially without root)

As an Audio Guy , I rely on an Open Source Player Called AIMP . Highly Customisable with themes , we can choose the equilizer , Custom Playlists , Or we can Load a whole Album In a Folder and it will auto detect the Title and make the Playlist more Browsable I guess. Maybe it's my personal opinion but you should give it a try when you can

Love Poweramp! Loved it so much I legit bought it from the play store. Only problem is it doesn't read .m4b. but you can rename the file to .mp3 and it works great
