Best FREE: ES File Explore. Best paid: Solid Explorer. X-Plore is OK, AndroXplorer is OK too.

Best overall: Solid Explorer. Whoever votes otherwise has not tried Solid.

Seriously? Not even a comment for FX File Explorer (Plus).... SMB/FTP/Root/+ & didn't think I'd ever say this but the sexiest damn app I've ever encountered. Just positively the best File Explorer/Manager out there. Now if only it had cast ability...

I feel like ES File Manager has the most features/ options and the new aesthetics look great. Astro is a close second for me.

Es File Explorer is very good, but solid explorer has double pannel for fast drag and drop that's very useful

I liked ES File Explorer for the possibility to put folders on my home screen.

Sadly you can't delete or move folders or files from ext SD card when your device isn't rooted.

Therefor no vote for ES explorer, but looking out for another explorer that doesn't have root restrictions, and can put folders on my home screen. Any suggestions?
