all the needed files are there, i think this map doesnt work with tomtom 6.020

As far as I can see its missing..

Traffic.dat
tmccodes.dat


the .mac is device specific and is created as the map is activated!

@kingsfan .. that looks like the "Raster" view .. a proper version of that .jpg would be nice too!

Would be nice to have this map! :D

Yeah I know but its not the official Raster image which will be a fair bit bigger!

AFAIK, TomTom Taiwan went out their way to make sure no other TomTom software beside Taiwan version can open this map. They also made sure no other PDA can install/run their TomTom Taiwan version software except those that came with it.

Yes, they would rather sacrifice compatibility with existing TomTom to achieve this goal. A stand alone PDA version of TomTom Taiwan is rumored to be released sometime in 2007.

Basically, all TomTom "non-registered" users in Taiwan are waiting for a crack for the map and software. lol.

Patch these files to your current TomTom 6.20x under /Program Files/Navigator, and it will read the Taiwan map.
Files included- data.chk, chinese3.ttf (for non-Chinese PPC), coredl2.dll (wm2003 only), Tom Tom Navigator.exe

This site is wonderful! I am in Taiwan right now and my brother in law doesnt know how to get from Taipei to Alishan. So i really need this map.

Could someone reupload the map please?
