Our beautiful country is in lock down, meaning the shops are closed and people have to stay inside, except for getting food and doing some outdoor walking and sport, following strict rules. Many people (re)discover their bicycle and use their sudden free time to go for a ride. Many by that discover that their bikes need to be fixed. Al tough my shop is closed, I still offer to help them and repair their bikes, following strict rules of course. Same goes for people who practice every day but see their local gym closed because of the lock down: they want to buy a bicycle or home-trainer to be able to sport. Some have their bicycle stored in their second residence in another part of the country or abroad, but are not able to reach it any more because of the traveling restrictions. So they buy another bike to have also one at home. Of course I can't refuse to sell them a bike because I know it all helps in these difficult times. Our local police said it's fine, because they know my way of working, and how serious(ly afraid) I am/think about this vicious virus. Yesterday I was not feeling well, so I was scared that my help to others would result in getting sick myself. Lucky I felt again wonderful this morning, and though I'm still willing to help, I seriously doubt about it being a good idea to go on like that. I hope they discover a vaccin soon. Stay healthy all!
