Does it play on-demand or only in shuffle mode?

Sorry, I don't mean to sound like a smart-arse but it probably means it isn't available in your country. Have you installed the un-modded version from playstore and used with success? If not then have you tried using a VPN?

It was strange because I'm in Canada. Anyway, I can sideload it on my Shield and it works. But within 24 hours, my account is shut down. I created another account (different email) and it too only lasted 24 hours. I guess Spotify is carrying through with its threat to close accounts of people using hacked apps.

The link no longer works, so since I also have a Mi Box I made another cloned app myself. This is necessary because the mod package name is the same as the pre-installed one, so it fails to install. All the cloning does is change the package name, and the install succeeds.
