Uninstall any previous version of Spotify that you have first. Then install this.

Just happened to me on a note9 too,
uninstalling previous version of Spotify fixed it for me

Can anyone confirm if the random force stopped have been fixed in this update?

Next release (tomorrow), has all those issues fixed - it was a Spotify coding issue that was making the songs stop during playback and nothing to do with the mod. The new version released today (8.5.23.686), is patched and I've tested it for most of the day by casting to Google Home. I didn't get any issues at all, so it seems you should download that version and install that instead when Balatan posts it.

I agree - if you want to Download songs that are decrypted - use Deezloader. I much prefer Deezer to Spotify though and find the layout better and you can download for offline listening with that as well, plus the songs are a higher bitrate and give better quality. Also no ads while casting to a smart speaker such as Google Home.

Still Spotify does sometimes have some songs that are not available on Deezer - so it makes sense to use both apps and that way you have the best of both worlds and an alternative service if one is unavailable in your country.

Great comment... The thing you mentioned about no ads when casting to Google Home etc. did it for me. I didn`t know that, and now my default app for music casting purposes is Deezer - I still use Spotify in other situations though

You can`t you have to buy a subscription for this feature but if you really need to download a playlist use soundiiz to transfer the playlist to Deezer for example and download using modded Deezer
