Spotify 8.5.27.957-mod.apk

(if song selection doesn't work straight away - close the app properly (twice), the third time you open the app songs should be selectable).

Is this for arm v7 or arm64-v8?

I have OnePlus5T with arm64 bit, running Oreo 8.1.0 and the installation is stuck at almost 90 percent for last half hour.

If you ever want to know what version - rename apk to zip - open with winrar or whatever you use for viewing zip files, then look in the lib folder - you'll then be able to see what libs are packed with the app and know if it's x86/armeabi-v7a or arm64.

Thanks for the trick !! :D

Part A.
Can a few people please share their experiences while searching for a song?
When you start typing in the search field (WITHOUT pressing enter), do you see:
a.) results for the songs/playlist/podcasts directly? Like this:

OR,
b.) further suggestions for the search query? Like this:
Image

My friend who has the same device as mine and same Spotify verison, but a premium account on official app from India, has the interface a.).
I, on the other hand, have modded Spotify with account having location as USA, and I have the b.) interface.
I absolutely dislike b.) and want to have a.). How to do that?
Which interface do you guys have and what's your country? PLEASE TELL.

Part B.
Continuing from Part A above, whatever the query I search, songs from my 'Liked' playlist don't appear at the top in the results. I have to enter the artist's name as well. This has been happening for the past month or so. Can this be fixed?

Easy to find the human error here:

A is when you search and press enter.

B is when you search but don't press enter.

Sorry, I forgot to mention but I meant:
In a.) results are displayed while typing the query itself without even pressing Enter key.
I have edited and corrected my post now.

Wow great tip! :o

Unfortunately for my phone it's the arm64-v8a, or...? Why is there a difference? If I install the armeabi-v7a does it cause any issue?

Sorry for asking for the update before, I didn't read the comments...

arm64-v8a are 64-bit processor phones, armeabi-v7a are 32-bit processor phones.

I don't think that a specific armeabi-v7a spotify mod will run on arm64-v8a phone. You can check about your phone's hardware using free droidinfo app available on playstore. Read the instructions on the following page.

All 32 bit Arm compiled apps will work on Arm64 - these chips are backwards compatible with Arm7 instruction sets. Smali code just uses a java interpreter and works on any chipset (so works on any device). Only the libs are compiled for different chipsets - but armeabi-v7a will work on Arm64 - therefore the app I posted will work on your device (unless it's x86).

I do not do it with the intention of criticizing, but of informing; in the fact that the application v8.5.27.957 sometimes closes on its own, which had not happened to me before with other versions.
