Note: Audio with a sampling rate exceeding 88.2 kHz output via the headphone connection, AOS connection, digital connections via OTG cable (free version only) is downsampled to 44.1 kHz.

Sorry to hear that but this has been out for almost half a year and nobody seems to have encountered the same trouble. Working well with me. Try to exhaust all possible solution like reinstalling, checking settings' pathway for music scanning...

I want to purchase the best music player to play flac and hires audio songs but I am unable to decide between this app and poweramp

IMHO both these apps are v good. Onkyo HF i would say has the edge sonically but PowerAmp is easier to use and has a more conventional UI. My favourite though is the Neutron Player although it takes a bit of learning to fully uitlise but worth the effort. Their dev team and tech support are very responsive too. If you have a rooted phone then Viper4Android (V4A) is considered to be the flagship EQ Solution. I have this running on a couple of old phones (which I was happy to risk rooting) and the results are very impressive.

My vote goes to USB Audio Player Pro.

TY, a bit late but imho this is definitely the best audio player for android, by audiophiles for audiophiles, a must-have if you handle a HQ collection of EAC rips...
