It's a premium feature. You have to obtain a paid subscription in order to do that. Downloading songs has never been a part of a spotify modded app.

Sorry dude you had to experience this. I tried reproducing the steps, but the app works fine for me. No crashes.
The Share window that pops up is native to Android OS and is not created by Spotify app itself. So maybe the problem isn't with Spotify, but your OS.

Is It possible to associate this Spotify with echodot 4a generation and use Spotify with Alexa ?

I see that they updated their awful landscape view for tablets.
