Many options here:
1/ maybe that IG is installed as a bloatware in your phone, meaning that you can't install the mod without root, as you can't uninstall the original one,
2/ You may want to keep an up-to-date IG version to use the latest official functions, while having the benefits of the mod,
3/ Maybe the mod has some bugs, that you don't have in the original app

Love this. Wish you could download Reels & downloads were fullscreen. Can't find InstaMod on this site. Wanted to see which is better in my opinion

InstaMod in discontinued...
Unfortunately, Instander 7.0 will have less features, making it easier and faster to maintain
Maintaining a feature-rich mod is taking a lot of time and resources, just for nothing in return but criticisms of some users. That's why all modders gave up, except the_dise (and other guys stealing his work).
