Is it helpful to report a post if it's in the wrong category? I'll occasionally see, for instance, a novel in the non-fiction section. Should I report this or move on by?

Thanks for all you do!

Please do report, hopefully it will only happen "occasionally". In cases where the poster is a self-categorising MER I'd rather you contacted the OP, but in any case, reporting is the right thing to do, thanks!

Thanks! What does this mean though, and how do I recognize one?

MER stands for Mayor eBook Releaser, the purple names you see in the eBooks section. In Android, the purple names are MARs, which stands for Mayor Android Releaser.

All the information about the different usergroups can be found in your User Control Panel under the button "Usergroups", and also browsing the site a bit: Subject: Usergroups
