Is it my imagination, but are posts not as regular as they usually are? I always look for the latest New Scientist, Country Life, All About History etc, and it's past their usual posting times.
You could try requesting what you need in the ebooks requests section and giving more WRZ$ along with that request to try and bribe a someone into putting your request up sooner.
