I can't help but notice few people are attached to our community and post very little. What if the releases were members only? Especially with only links to sharing sites, people access all the good without giving any words, reviews or tips back.

I'm sure it will also help minimize the bandwidth usage a bit IMO.

even if we limit the access of guest members, it doesn't mean that anyone who downloads a release will post a comment too. currently we have lots of registered users without even a single post in their track record. also some users don't like to leave a trace such as ip address, last activity time, etc. so they prefer anonymity. it's obvious that some guests have already a registered username, but just aren't logged in.

We also don't need to save bandwidth, we have plenty, the connection speed and server load are the problem, but these usually aren't caused by guests.

I prefer to allow guests to access releases because then they can see what we have to offer without actually registering. Afterwards if the guests like the site they can register. In the end this leads to an increased amount of visitors. I also see little point in forcing people to register if they are not prepared to post anyways. Also, as infernal already mentioned, some users prefer to remain anonymous.

I also visited in guest mode and used it quite a while before register. I only did it when I felt the need to share my stuff or opinion about something. Then it all started.

i think we should limit guests to some topics or limit their download speed so members can have faster speeds than gusts. This also means less server load as the gustes will have slower connects. or u can limit number of guts ie. 200 guests only and if 1 leaves the person next in the Que. enters,

The speed is currently very fast for both, this is completely unnecessary nor will it beneficial to the speed of members.

Don't buy Touch HD, THD is incompatible with most of games & also apps.
You can't play most of games. (Lack of hardware D-Pad/keyboard, horrible pixelated graphics on games)
That large display sucks your battery so fast.

We should not act here like members are so much better than guests. This is none sense to me.

I love this site and wouldn't care if it were members only. It takes a whole two seconds to activate your account. However i think you guys should put ads up for those who do not want to log in to help with the server costs.

Doesn't it make us kind of unique that we don't have ads? Look at warez-bb or forumw, every time you click something 4 popups open and banners are all over the place. That is the reason I avoid them like the plague.
