When I download ebooks from certain filehosts, they're always .rar files containing - OEBPS, META-INF folders & a mimetype file.

I have no idea what to do with these. Am I downloading them incorrectly, or can you post me to some instructions on what to do with them?

It certainly sounds like those .rar extensions are mistakes because the folders you mention are ones associated with epubs. Epubs are a type of .rar file anyway so you _should_ just be able to rename the extension and have them work fine as epubs. I'm just not sure why they are dling as .rars.
