If you're talking about the yellow things when you hover over a post, haven't we had a discussion about this already? The size of the tooltip is determined by the browser, not by anything on my end, in fact if you view the source, the entire last post is entered into the tooltip.

I can however make a box popup when you hover over showing the last post if we get enough need for it. Like some sites use when you hover over a link, kind of gives you a preview of the link.

I really like the new javascript popups appearing while hoovering your mouse on a topic.
But the pictures are not shown, while I know this could be possible.

with a picture you can see much faster if that topic interest you or not, so I really hope pictures will be added in the mouse over poopup.

EDIT: I know see only the last reply is added in the popup. Maybe it would be nicer to have:

I know this will make the popup much larger, maybe the first post in the popup should be set in a really small font. But the pictures used in a release will make the popup very nice.

Sorry, the tooltips are a simple way to read the last post, all formatting is stripped, adding images and formatting is not feasible, if you want to see pictures, you will need to enter the post. I will not be adding the first post to them either, they are just to see if the last post is something worth reading, or if it's a few words not worth loading up the post for.

It's one of those give and inch and people want a mile things

Some people were having errors with this, so I have turned it off by default. To turn on the tooltips, do the following:
Go to 'user control panel'
Select 'board preferences'
Select 'edit display options'
Enable 'Display last post when hovering over link'
