Would you guys be interested in seeing the GPS releases separated from the other software releases? This would mean that a new GPS section (like the other Software, Games, ROMs, Movies and eBooks sections) will be added with Releases, Releases by Category and Requests.

The two main methods in which the categories can be categorized are these:
1. by GPS software brand > release type
2. by release type

#1 would look something like this:

GPS Releases by Category:
- TomTom
-- TomTom Apps
-- TomTom Maps
-- TomTom Speedcams/Voices/Others
- iGO
-- iGO Apps
-- iGO Maps
-- iGO Speedcams/Voices/Others
- Garmin
-- Garmin Apps

-- Garmin Speedcams/Voices/Others

-- Navigon Apps
-- Navigon Maps

- Navigation Software (does not include GPS utilities that can help perform GPS functions- these should remain in Software)

i vote seerate section and methord 1. (lol good thing you can change votes! put methord 2 by accident)

methord 1 is a bit more work for mods, and releaseors but its much better organised.

Yes I agreed with this separation method, as we know GPS getting popular now this day. My choice is method #1

I agreed with this method, but it already been categories to category so I don’t think labeling is work. As you know whenever a releaser releases a topic they will indicate the requirement e.g. PPC, PC, PNA etc.

Correct me if I’m wrong. Is this you mean in labeled?

And I hope the sticky that made by Twingo HERE will be remain at the Releases Topic. This will be help a lot for all the member/newbie to get the latest release.

But don´t forgot PNA,s Miomap or whatever others IGO have too and tomtom

It is not needed to add different sections for PDA and PNA, the subsections like stated in the first post should be enough. The same thing for different versions of GPS (TT5/TT6 etc), these are quite obvious because that info is in the release itself. Latest versions of maps and apps are always on top.

Well the thing is;
Software for PDA and PNAs are diferents.
And PNAs are diferents by Models<--------Diferent software and Maps;
example;
Tomtom One Software is diferent from Tomtom GO
Mio 220 diferent from Mio 350
this way is more easy and more clear:
first Section ; Software..... Tomtom.......Igo......Or whatever.
Second subsection; PDA, PNA, CAr PC, PC or whatevers
And In thats subsections anothers by versions;
example in PNA; tomtom One, tomtom 520 or whatever by Models
I say this causse there are a lot peopple expert in somedevice and don´t in others
separated subsections make all more clear
Inclusive you can take Mode for tomtom and diferent for IGO or Garmin etc.
If this section is well done sure we have a lot ppl new join in forum.
Anyway I amn´t expert in GPS but any similar a ROM section by devices
Ok too long but later more clear and more easy if you have mi220 you only need go to that section, don´t need read all GPS section.
Well Only is my Opinion maybe experts in GPS they have another Opinion
But..... I want the more great section GPS in the NET, and this is not dificult
if you make separated sections and take experts by sections similar cookers ROMs
the diferent we can take 200000 ppl with a good GPS section
You know somebody haven´t GPS? But they are not experts in change software, updateds etc. And we can make a easy way.
