Keep 1.9.3 live, the problem with 2.0 is that even if you comment on the app release, it never goes up. It will depend on the recent release not on the comment update.

Normal (non-premium) downloads are working for me perfectly with Firefox. No issues with going back to the app, either.

This is a serious oversight in the new app, it was the most useful feature in the old app and in fact was the only reason I used it!

- My Applications section (like v1.93 has) will also be introduced in v2.x as replacement for the version tracker.

We're working on a My Applications similar to what we had in v1.9 for v2.0. We're also working on the bugs with the Premium downloader in the app, at the moment some links that are supposed to work show "Download failed - file likely deleted from filehost."

v1.9.3. is not going anywhere, you will be able to continue using it.

I loved the old app. It was useful. I am so glad that a new one is available.

Really can't wait for the notification fix. I'm on Android 8.1 & it'll say downloading... but there is no notification with progress bar so you can see it, then install it right away when done.

Since this is one of the biggest features for me, I'll be on 1.9.3 until the fix.

Working on the Premium downloads issue.

Non premium downloads prompt to open in my browser app, and after starting a download I find I can't get back to the Mobilism app: tabbing back to the Mobilism app merely brings my browser rather than the app to the forefront, and even hitting Back a few times just takes me back pages through the download site's various interstitial pages and then ultimately closes my browser. A force quit of Mobilism is needed to reopen Mobilism successfully.

If you open it in Chrome, you'll need to go back to Mobilism by opening your list of open apps, and selecting Mobilism. You'll then be back at the page with the download links for the release you were looking at.

I've managed to reproduce this problem; it happens with some downloads but not with others. Try the duploads.com link on this entry. This happened for me with Firefox and IDM+, and likely happens with other browsers too.
