FOOTBALL DAILY DOUBLE

For our Sunday Football Daily Double event we looked at two different events and all we had to do was guess correctly in BOTH events to win. The favorites are in bold and red.

GAME ONE - SOCCER
Arsenal vs. Everton/DRAW


Alexandre Lacazette's fine second-half strike helped Arsenal to a 2-0 win over Everton in the Premier League at The Emirates on Super Sunday.
The impressive Petr Cech kept Arsenal level in the first half with several fine stops, before a curling stunner from Lacazette (56) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's close-range finish (59) gave the hosts a cushion, despite the latter looking offside. The result means Arsenal have won their last five on the bounce having lost their opening two, and sit in sixth place with Everton back in 12th.


GAME TWO - FOOTBALL
Dallas Cowboys vs. Seattle Seahawks


Russell Wilson threw for two touchdowns in the first half, Chris Carson added a 5-yard TD run in early in the fourth quarter, and the Seattle Seahawks avoided three consecutive losses with a 24-13 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
Wilson hit Jaron Brown on an 18-yard touchdown early in the second quarter, and later hit Tyler Lockett streaking up the sideline on a 52-yard scoring pass as Seattle (1-2) built a 17-3 halftime lead and cruised past the Cowboys.

Only one thing can be said for this week...

On a side note, the last time a 17 point favorite lost was back in 1995
And since the two leagues merged (1970), this is only the 7th time a 16 or more point favorite has lost

The Buffalo Bills destroyed the Minnesota Vikings 27 to 6
The Chicago Bears barely beat the Arizona Cardinals 16 to 14 with a late comeback
The Denver Broncos lost to the Baltimore Ravens 27 to 14
And the San Francisco 49'ers lost to the Kansas City Chiefs 38 to 27

So all of us unlucky players that selected Minnesota are TOAST
