For this Wednesday contest, we looked at action from the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup and MLB and to win all we had to predict the winner in both games. The favorites are in bold and red.

New Zealand vs. Pakistan


Pakistan enhanced its reputation as the most unpredictable team in international cricket with a six-wicket victory that kept its World Cup semifinal hopes alive, ruined New Zealand’s perfect record, and heaped more pressure on host England. Babar Azam hit his 10th one-day international century, finishing 101 not out off 127 balls, as Pakistan reached 241-4 with five balls to spare in reply to New Zealand’s 237-6. It was the Black Caps’ first loss in the tournament following five wins and a washed-out game against India.

Atlanta Braves vs. Chicago Cubs


Nick Markakis hit a three-run homer, Brian McCann had a solo shot, and the Atlanta Braves held on for a 5-3 win over the host Chicago Cubs on Wednesday night. Atlanta increased its lead to 5-0 in the third when Markakis hit a three-run blast to center field. Umpires stopped play with one out in the top of the fourth because of inclement weather. When play resumed 48 minutes later, the Cubs started clawing back., but it was too little too late.

Friday brings us "THE MATCH" in the Soccer World Cup. While it's only a Quarter Final game, most experts think that this will be the game that determines the Cup Winner.

So it's time for a OVER/UNDER"

For those that don't remember, OVER/UNDER is a classic betting term. It's a bet that has nothing to do with who will win the game. Instead, you are betting on whether the TOTAL number of goals (or points, or runs, or whatever) scored by BOTH TEAMS will be OVER or UNDER a certain target number. So when you hear somebody say, "the over/under for this soccer match is 2.5, that means the target number is 2.5
Anybody betting the OVER is betting that a total of 3 or more goals will be scored by both teams in the match
Anybody betting the UNDER is betting that a total of 2 or less goals will be scored by both teams in the match

For this edition of OVER/UNDER, we will be asking you to make two predictions
You will have to pick who will win the game, AND whether it will be OVER or UNDER 2.5 goals scored
To win your share of the pool, you have to correctly predict BOTH
NOTE: If the game goes beyond overtime to penalty kicks, those goals do not count against the total. The final score at the end of overtime will be the number used for this contest
