THURSDAY DAILY DOUBLE

For our Thursday Daily Double event we looked at two different events — NFL and NBA — and all we had to do was guess correctly in BOTH events to win. The favorites are in bold and red.

GAME ONE - NFL FOOTBALL
Denver Broncos at Arizona Cardinals


Emmanuel Sanders threw and caught touchdown passes, Denver returned two interceptions for first-quarter touchdowns and the Broncos snapped a four-game losing streak with a 45-10 rout of the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night.
Todd Davis returned rookie Josh Rosen's deflected pass for a touchdown on the second play of the game and Chris Harris Jr. took another back 53 yards for a score with 2:02 left in the quarter as the Broncos (3-4) opened a 21-3 lead. Rosen threw three interceptions and fumbled the ball away twice on a rough night that began badly for him and never got better. He limped off the field after he was sacked for the fifth time, on a fourth-and-16 play near the end of the game.
The Cardinals (1-6), down 35-3 at the half, fell to 0-4 at home for the first time since 1979.

GAME TWO - NBA BASKETBALL
Los Angeles Lakers at Portland Trail Blazers


The regular season started on Thursday with the Trail Blazers welcoming the new look Los Angeles Lakers to Moda Center. LeBron James made his long-awaited Lakers debut after signing a $154 million contract with Los Angeles this past offseason.
The 14-time All-Star had an unfamiliar cast around him, led by young forwards Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma, and although they did well to keep it a close game tonight, it will be a while before the Lakers operate as a cohesive unit. Portland, meanwhile, were looking to start their season off by building on a first-round playoff exit a year ago. The two battled all game long, with Portland eventually pulling out the 128-119 victory. The victory marked the 16th straight win over the Lakers, and the 18th year in a row the Blazers have won their home opener.

PREMIER LEAGUE DAILY DOUBLE

IT CONTINUES (and will continue forever )... the 2018-2019 Premier League Season

There will be a full slate of Premier League games this weekend
This contest will focus on a Saturday Game and a Sunday Game... so time for yet another DAILY DOUBLE
And, since the two games feature some solid favorites, if you pick the dog, you also get credit for the win if the match ends in a draw
This will be a Daily Double, and you know the drill. You will have to make the correct prediction on BOTH games to win.
