FRENCH BASKETBALL DAILY DOUBLE

For our first foray into global Basketball we looked at two games from the France Pro A League. To win, we had to predict the winner in both games. The favorites are in bold and red.

GAME ONE
Le Mans Basket vs. JDA Dijon Basket


Petr Cornelie and Wilfried Yeguete were key players in the win, as the MSB returned to victory by dominating the JDA 81-57.

GAME TWO
Le Portel at AS Monaco Basket


Trailing 80-82 American winger Anthony Hilliard was the star for Le Portel with his shot two seconds from the buzzer to lift his team to a nail-biting 83-82 win over AS Monaco.

MONDAY UNDERDOGS

Monday is a Holiday in the States... Martin Luther King Jr. Day
So we have a full slate of NBA games starting far earlier than usual. But looking at the match ups... they don't look so promising. So... It looks like a good time for UNDERDOGS
For this Monday edition of UNDERDOGS, we will provide you with three games. Unlike Slaughter Rule where we are asking you to pick which one will lose by the most points, here we are simply asking "How many of these three will win?"
Your job will be simple... you pick either 0,1,2 or 3
You have only four choices
So if only one of the underdogs win, and you pick one, you win... see, it's that simple

Oklahoma City Thunder at New York Knicks
The Thunder are on a roll this year. They are in third place in the West, with a 27 and 18 record
On the other hand, the Knicks suck, and are in 13th place in the weaker East, with a lowly 10 and 34 record.
Maybe some home cooking will help (or not)

GAME TWO
Dallas Mavericks at Milwaukee Bucks
At least the Knicks are at home... the poor 13th place (West) Mavericks have to go into Milwaukee to play the first place Bucks. Not a good match up for them

GAME THREE
Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Lakers
The only hope that the Lakers have in this match up against the 1st place team in the West is if Lebron can come back from his injury... unfortunately, that isn't likely
