Kolkata Knight Riders vs Kings XI Punjab,: What did Happen

Another emphatic win for Kings XI Punjab. What a run Chris Gayle has had this IPL, lining up one performance after the other. KL Rahul too extending his purple patch, the teams will be wary of these two as they are fast becoming the opening duo of the IPL. R Ashwin at the presentations said it was important that as bowling unit they kept them under 200 and psychologically helping the visitors. That phase in the last overs of the first innings swayed the momentum back in their favour as well.

KKR started the game well and in even though they wobbled towards the end of the innings, registered a decent total of 191/7.

KXIP never seemed troubled by the target as KL Rahul and Chris Gayle both scored half centuries that saw the away side register a comfortable win.

Arsene Wenger resigns after 22 years. Papers are now saying that he was pushed out.
It's probably for the best, he ran out of ideas a few years ago. There was an article in The Guardian today saying that it was strange that someone who was such an innovator could end up stuck in a rut. It was a shame to see him insulted by his own fans so I am glad he has retired,, although he has always said he has no other interests so who knows what he will end up doing. A least it means he won't be buying any more lightweight attacikng midfielders...

That 2003-2004 Arsenal squad...still probably my favourite (club) squad of all time, along with 2006-2008 Manchester United. I kinda had a huge crush on Thierry Henry at the time. :oops: :-D

I just found a site with the Odds posted for tomorrows baseball games:

GAME ONE
Pittsburgh Pirates 44%
Philadelphia Phillies 57%

GAME TWO
Chicago Cubs 54%
Colorado Rockies 48%

GAME THREE
Toronto Blue Jays 33%
New York Yankees 69%

The major difference is that the Pirates and Phillies game is not expected to be as close as the Friday Game.
The Phillies have a much better Odds advantage due to the Pitchers both teams having going on Sunday

Also, the Cubs are given a better chance of winning as well... Probably due to the pounding they gave the Rockies last night. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
