What is it?
  • A contest where you have to colour each region with one of four colours, in such a way that no two regions sharing a boundary have the same colour.

How do you play?
  • You are given a map consisting of a number of regions in four different colors. Some regions have already been coloured.
  • Post the picture of the map with all regions coloured in one of the four colours, in such a way that no two regions sharing a length of border have the same colour.
  • Two regions which meet at only one point (i.e. are diagonally separated) may be the same colour.

A few posters asked me about what to use to color the maps
I suggested:
Would you share in this thread what software or application you recommend ?

That would be much appreciated.

I've personally used autodesk sketchbook Pro (or just autodesk sketchbook since they've apparently made their software free - i haven't received any notification that i have to pay so i guess that it is :? I think that it's available both on app store and Google play and for mac users I'm not sure since I'm on Windows but i hope so :?

I usually use Paint 3D in Windows 10. It got this function where you can capture a color ("Eyedropper" function) and identifies what is the color or the hex code of that color.
